The Eastern Central and Southern African Federation of Accountants (ECSAFA) is a regional body whose objects, inter alia, are to co-ordinate development of the accountancy profession and the promotion of internationally recognised standards of professional competence and conduct within the region.
The mission of the organisation is to build and promote the accountancy profession in the Eastern, Central and Southern regions of Africa in order that it is, and is perceived by accountants, businesses, financiers and governments, to be an important factor in the economic development of the region.
Full membership is open to national accountancy bodies in member states while observer membership is open to international accountancy organisations and other agencies with interest in accounting operating in the region. National accountancy bodies in the course of formation in the member states are accorded temporary status in the organisation pending their establishment.For more information please click here.
