Reciprocity

RECIPROCAL MEMBERSHIP
The main objective of a mutual recognition agreement is to set out the basis on which members of a recognised institute become reciprocal members of ICAZ.

The agreements apply to members of the reciprocal bodies who have achieved membership by completing a typical pathway to membership.
a. A ‘typical pathway’ is:
i. One which is completed through the education and training route of the professional body; or
ii. One which is completed under approved credit or other scheme arrangements that does not include exemption from the final qualifying exam of the certification.

b. The reciprocal membership pathway does not apply to individuals who gained membership with a member body through another reciprocal membership agreement with a third party that is not a member body.
