Students

The ICAZ training programme is regulated by the ICAZ Training Regulations which pertain to trainee accountants. The Training regulations are a set of general provisions that govern the conduct of the training programme (download the ICAZ training regulations). Confirmation by the trainee accountant that he/she has entered into a training contract with an ICAZ accredited training office must be done through registration of the training contract on the ICAZ website.  The training contract can either be for a 3-year period (accounting degree holders) or a 5-year training contract (A ‘level holders). Upon completion of the probationary period (3 months), the training contract becomes binding on both sides until completion of articles at any of the accredited training offices. Training to be a chartered accountant requires hard work and dedication.
